Notre Dame is stitched in with gold-colored thread on a small blue sewn-on patch, just as in current times the names on a flap are added to the backs of football jerseys. These beanies were worn on sidelines by coaches and players. This was from the time when Knute Rockne prowled the Fighting Irish sidelines. In lovely condition. Still a little blue pom-pom on top.
