Gorgeous poster touting "The Brawl in Montreal" (June 20, 1980), the first (and best) of the three Leonard/Duran meetings. According to Leonard's trainer, Angelo Dundee, before this fight the challenger, Duran, insulted Leonard and told Leonard's wife that he would "kill him." As a result, an enraged Leonard abandoned his usual dancing style and sought to fight Duran toe-to-toe. The Hands of Stone prevailed and Roberto was the new WBC Welterweight Championship.
