Collection of thirteen color transparencies and two film negatives, each capturing Roberto Clemente at spring training as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1960. While several of the poses are similar, all are different. Nine capture Clemente by himself, while six others picture him with teammates. Three of the transparencies are posed "action" shots, with Clemente diving head-first into a base as one of his teammates applies the tag. Each transparency measures approximately 2.5x2.5". The two film negatives, which are together on an uncut panel (2.5x5"), picture Clemente in the locker room. Excellent to Mint condition overall. Accompanied by their original sleeve, which is marked "1960" in pencil on the front.
