Displayed is a collection of press pins (1950s-2000) for nineteen (19) Major League All-Star Games, plus a 1989 All-Star Game charm. These press pins were only given to members of the press, not sold to the public, so only a very limited number were produced each year. The pins are for the following years and host teams: 1951, Detroit Tigers (with the original card attached); 1952, Philadelphia Phillies; 1953, Cincinnati Reds; 1954, Cleveland Indians; 1955, Milwaukee Braves; 1956, Washington Senators; 1958, Baltimore Orioles; 1959, Pittsburgh Pirates; 1976, Philadelphia Phillies; 1982, Montreal Expos; 1983, Chicago White Sox; 1989; 1990, Chicago Cubs; 1992, San Diego Padres; 1993, Baltimore Orioles; 1995, Texas Rangers; 1996 Philadelphia Phillies; 1997, Cleveland Indians; 1998, Colorado Rockies; 2000, Atlanta Braves. In addition, the collection contains a 1989 All-Star Game charm - not a press pin - for the contest hosted by the California Angels, in Anaheim. All of the press pins, and the 1989 charm, are in NRMT condition.
