Presented is a 2009 Scott Rolen Toronto Blue Jays 125th Anniversary game used bat. The Hall of Fame third baseman played 17 Major League seasons: Philadelphia Phillies (1996-2002); St. Louis Cardinals (2002-07); Toronto Blue Jays (2008-09); Cincinnati Reds (2009-12). He was a 7-time All-Star, an 8-time Gold Glove winner, and the 1997 Rookie of the Year, and a 2006 World Champion. Rolen hit a career .281, with 316 home runs and 2,077 hits. In 2009, he played 88 games for Toronto and 40 games for Cincinnati. He batted .305 for the season, with 11 homers and 67 RBIs, but his work with Toronto was outstanding as he hit .320, with eight home runs and 43 RBIs. The Model C271 Louisville Slugger bat has a length of 33.75" and a weight of 31.7 ounces. The ash bat has a Flame Burned finish. The handle is caked with pine tar. A 125th Anniversary logo is stamped on the barrel. The bat demonstrates outstanding use. Rolen's #33 is written on the knob in black marker by an unknown hand. Etched on the barrel is "Genuine C271/ SCOTT ROLEN/Toronto Blue Jays." The handle is caked with pine tar. The bat comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Grading and Authenticity (PSA/DNA Cert. #1B31256). The bat has a PSA/DNA grade of GU 10.
