Joltin' Joe played his entire 13-year career with the New York Yankees (1936-42 & 1946-51). He batted a lifetime .324, with 361 home runs. The 13-time All-Star was a 3-time American League MVP, a 2-time AL batting champ, and helped the Bronx Bombers to nine World Series triumphs. The whole nation pulled for Joe in 1941 as he set his marvelous 56-game hitting streak. In '38, he was 23 years old and batted .324, with 32 home runs and 140 RBIs. At the peak of his career, DiMaggio served in the U.S. Army for three years (1943-45) in World War II. The Yankee Clipper's marriage to Marilyn Monroe made him even more of an American icon. The presented negative measures 3.9x4.9", and it comes in a 4.4x5.2" manila envelope.
