John Starks was a 6'5" shooting guard who played 13 seasons in the NBA, most notably for the New York Knicks (1990-98). Presented is a pair of 1993 game worn and autographed John Starks New York Knicks Adidas sneakers. In the NBA, Starks also played with the Golden State Warriors, the Chicago Bulls, and the Utah Jazz. For his career, Starks averaged 12.5 PPG and 3.6 APG. In the 1992-93 season, Starks averaged 17.5 PPG and 5.1 APG. The Knicks finished in first place in the Atlantic Division in '93, and advanced to the Conference Finals where they were eliminated by the Chicago Bulls, 4-2 in games. The offered sneakers have an inside tongue has a size tag that shows L, for large, which is equal to size 13-13.5. The white sneakers have black trim and black laces. An Adidas tag on the right insole shows that the sneakers are mostly constructed from a synthetic material, but that the outsole is rubber. The sneakers show good wear, especially where the protective coating on the "wire" going down to each heel, and the "wire" on the front near the instep and opposite the instep, has worn away. The heel of each sneaker shows "Adidas Equipment." Starks has signed and inscribed the front of each sneaker with blue ink from a pen and writing "John Starks #3". Despite the wear, the sneakers are in very good condition. The sneakers come with individual PSA LOAs for the autographs.
