Official umpire lineup cards for the first game of the 2021 World Series between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros, played at Minute Maid Park in Houston on October 26th. The preprinted cards feature the starting lineups and reserves for each team and have been signed, respectively, by each club's manager in black ink at the base ("Brian Snitker" for Atlanta and "Johnnie B. Baker Jr." for Houston). Each signature has been graded GEM MINT 10 by PSA. These were the cards turned in to home plate umpire Chris Conroy prior to the game and record Conroy's handwritten notations regarding the many lineup moves made during the game. The first game of the 2021 fall classic was especially memorable because it featured a leadoff home run by Jorge Soler in the top of the first inning, marking the first time in history that a World Series game opened with a home run. The Braves won Game 1 by a score of 6-2 and defeated Houston in six games to win the Series. Each card (5.5x8.5") displays a heavy vertical center fold and is otherwise in Excellent condition.
