Springfield, Massachusetts, is the birthplace of basketball, so what better fitting place for the signatures of three giants of the hardwood than a Massachusetts license plate featuring the Basketball Hall of Fame logo. The license plate has been signed in blue marker by Bill Russell, George Mikan, and Bob Pettit. In addition to signing the plate, Russell has also added his uniform number ("6") after his name. Russell's signature is the boldest of the three, grading 10/10, while the Mikan and Pettit signatures grade 7/10 and 8/10, respectively. This is the first signed Massachusetts license plate we have ever seen, let alone by three of the greatest players in NBA history. Obviously, with Russell's recent passing, it may be the only such example signed by the Boston Celtics legend. The plate displays a few moderate scratches and is in Excellent condition overall.
