Tremendous banner celebrating the 1968-69 Baltimore Bullets NBA Eastern Division Championship is navy blue with orange lettering sewn on, all in felt. Measuring 92x75", this hung in Baltimore Civic Center where the Bullets played and reads, "Baltimore Bullets" above five orange stars, then "1968-69 N.B.A. Eastern Division CHAMPIONS." Led by Hall of Famers Wes Unseld, Earl Monroe, and Gus Johnson, the Bullets shot to a 57-25 record, edging out the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks for the title. Considering its age and the fact that it hung in an arena, this is in simply magnificent shape and is a great and unique memento of a team that went on to become the Capital Bullets, the Washington Bullets, and today's Washington Wizards in their storied history.
