If you're looking to add some vintage baseball charm to your collection, the offered red, white, and blue (as well as black) stadium sign can do the trick and spark interest. We're not sure from what stadium the sign originated. Most likely, the sign is from the 1950s-60s. The metal sign measures 18x24" and hanging from the main sign is a smaller metal one (4.75x12") that is attached by screws at the base of the larger sign. The main sign reads "Even Number/Reserved, Grandstand & Box Seats/Use this ramp or stairway." The smaller attached sign reads, "3rd Base Dugout." The sign has been repainted several times, but it still has vintage paint on it. The sign shows use: One can see the earlier stencil marks for some of the lettering; there is possibly some glue or other substance under the letter "N" in the top section; there is some minor paint loss; the screws show rust; the smaller sign is bent and shows discoloration, possibly when blowing sand or dust settled on fresh paint; and there are assorted abrasions and scrapes. The aforementioned details show that it's obvious that the sign has seen many years of actual stadium use. It will make a colorful, vintage display.
