The first of its kind that we've seen, this 1965 Dodge/Chrysler ad poster heralds a new speed record and is signed by Ray Fox, who built the engine used in the historic feat. Framed to a sizeable 24.5x33", the headline touts "'65 Dodge Sets World Speed Record - 181.818 MPH" above an image of the Lee Roy Yarbrough's #3 car and Fox's signature. Below is a more detailed description of the accomplishment, noted as having taken place on a closed track on February 26. The final line of text notes, "Racing mechanic Ray Fox set up the Dodge for the record run." Fox was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2003.
