Presented is an outstanding collection of 80+ autographs compiled in two autograph books. Many of these players were stars from late 1930s and the signatures range to players who played until the early 1950s. The autograph books are particularly strong with signatures of Brooklyn Dodgers. Each of the books measures 5.75" x 6.25". One of the books has some cover damage and some loose pages. The other book is in satisfactory condition, but does have some wear and damage to both the cover and some pages. The books contain the following signatures: Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Joe DiMaggio (2), Bill Dickey (2), Ted Williams, Joe Gordon, Bucky Walters, Johnny Mize, Carl Hubbell, Bob Feller, Moe Berg. Billy Herman, Pee Wee Reese, Dixie Walker, Pete Reiser, Hugh Casey, Cookie Lavagetto, Lou Boudreau, Rudy York, Schoolboy Rowe, Charlie Keller, Jimmy Dykes, and Paul Waner. Some are signed on pages; some are glued on pages. In the second book, some autographs are signed on images and some on the pages. Overall, the autographs are numerous and feature many Hall of Famers and stars.
