Statue portion stands about 9" high and is roughly 13" across, weighing 11.5 pounds and exhibiting stellar detail. Base measures 14x5.5x3" with front breaking down his accomplishments at age 2, 3, and 4, also listing breeder Paul Mellon, Trainer J. Elliott Burch (Hall of Famer), and sculptor June Harrah. Run the Gauntlet had six major title wins to his credit, and was the 1971 American Champion Male Turf Horse of the Year. Some slight chipping is noted to the base, though the piece still displays magnificently.
