Official 2001 World Series ball signed in blue ink by thirty-five members of the 2001 American League Champion New York Yankees, including Jeter, Torre (sweet spot, black ink), Rivera, Mussina, Pettitte, B. Williams, Posada, O'Neill, Clemens, Hernandez, Brosius, Knoblauch, Stottlemyre (coach), Zimmer (coach), Randolph (coach), Stanton, Spencer, Bellinger, and Cloninger (coach). Signatures average 7/10. The Yankees came within just two outs of wining their fourth consecutive World Championship in 2001, losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7. What made the loss all the more surprising was that the Diamondbacks mounted their game-winning comeback against the greatest relief pitcher in baseball history, Mariano Rivera. The ball displays a few tiny scattered areas of very light toning and is otherwise in Mint condition.
