Hall of Famer Harold "Pie" Traynor is regarded as one of the top third baseman of his time of the first half of the Twentieth Century. He hit .320 lifetime and was regarded as a top-notch fielder. He played his 17-year career all with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and he was a part of their 1925 World Champion team. He was selected for the squad of the first Major League All-star game in 1933. He also managed the Pirates in five seasons. The attractive display includes a 5x6.5" photo of Traynor holding his bat, and a 5x1.5" segment containing his autograph. The autograph is signed in green ink from a fine-tipped fountain open. Traynor uses both his first and last names, signing as Harold "Pie" Traynor. The entire display is matted and framed at 15x18".
