Football helmet worn by Wes Welker during his days playing football at Heritage Hall High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Welker has personally attested to its former use by signing the helmet "W.Welker 5" (Welker wore number 5 in high school) in black Sharpie (10/10) on the front and adding the notation "Game Used" on the right side. Both the signature and the inscription were personally witnessed by a representative of Beckett Authentication and the company's special "Witnessed" authentication label (W66242) is affixed to the reverse of the helmet (corresponding COA accompanies). The white "All American" football helmet (size L) features the team's nickname, "Chargers," lettered on each side and is complete with facemask and all interior padding. A 1997 "All American" recertification label also appears on the interior. The helmet displays heavy wear, including several nicks to the exterior. Accompanied by a photo of Welker wearing the helmet at the time of the signing. 

Welker was practically a one-man team while wearing this helmet in high school. A key member on both offense and defense, as well as the team's punt returner and kicker, Welker helped lead the Chargers to the 2A state football championship his junior year. In the title game, against Tishomingo High School, Welker totaled over 200 yards on offense, scored three touchdowns, recorded an interception, and made a 47-year field goal. Adept as both a rusher and receiver, Welker finished his high school career with 3,235 rushing yards, 2,551 receiving yards, 87 total touchdowns, 22 interceptions, 581 tackles, and 35 made field goals. Following his senior year in 1999, Welker was named the All State Player of the Year by The Daily Oklahoman, and Oklahoma State Player of the Year by USA Today. Incredibly, Welker received just one scholarship to play college football, and he only received it because another recruit at Texas Tech backed out of his commitment. Welker's height (5 ft. 9 in.) was always held against him as he progressed through the college and professional ranks. Even after a stellar career at Texas Tech, Welker went undrafted in the 2004 NFL draft. But, once again, he proved all the naysayers wrong. After playing sparingly with San Diego and Miami from 2004 to 2006, he finally found a permanent home in New England, where he teamed with Tom Brady to win two AFC Championships. One of the top receivers of his era he finished his NFL career with 903 receptions, 9,924 receiving yards, and 50 touchdowns.
