Original Type I photograph of Christy Mathewson as a member of the New York Giants. Mathewson is pictured warming up on the side line prior to a game at the Polo Grounds. Two Brown Bros. credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Mathewson's name written twice in pencil. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here is one that dates to the three-year span 1908-1910. The photo measures 5x7" and displays light creasing.
