Original glass plate negative of Teddy Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States. The image captures Roosevelt as he delivers a speech against the backdrop of a large United States flag. The etchings along the base and sides of the plate define the scene: “Decoration Day – Speech at Grant’s Tomb – 1910.” The negative (7x5”) displays minor flaws, mainly along the periphery, but the central image is largely unaffected. Accompanied by its original paper sleeve. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
