Mathewson is pictured in his follow-through delivery as he warms up on the sideline prior to a game, circa 1906. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, as does Mathewson’s name, written in pencil. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was used by the Giants between the years 1905 and 1907. A classic early image of “Matty” in his prime.
