1952 Tip Top Bread Label Mickey Mantle. The label has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA as Authentic, has a bright and clear image of Mantle on a white center star surrounded by four stars and Tip Top advertising on a burgundy background. It appears that all four ends have been hand cut to straighten the bread label when torn from the original packaging. The eight (8) label corners all have light touches while the top right corner has a small crease. There is a small amount of staining in the white star background. Reverse shows much ink transfer from the front image as well as toning/staining from the original bread. Only 12 examples have been graded by PSA with a grade of Good being the highest. This is the first example to be offered in public auction since 2017, illustrating just how rarely this label comes to market.
