Vintage 1969 Pittsburgh Steelers jersey game worn by quarterback Dick Shiner. All original but for the NFL Anniversary patch on the left sleeve, which has been removed, white jersey has Shine's number 17 in all black on front, back, and shoulders, and displays nice use with some slight staining. Olympic Sport Center and Sand-Knit size 44 tagging on front tail. Shiner's first opportunity to land a starting role came during his brief two-year stint with the Steelers and he was the regular quarterback throughout the '69 season under rookie coach Chuck Noll. In 1970, Pittsburgh drafted Terry Bradshaw and the rest is history. Comes directly from the Steelers with their certificate.
