Superb Jack Lambert helmet was game used not only for a circa-1970s Pro Bowl, but was also his gamer for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Looks to be from the late '70s and shows nice use with original facemask, but no chinstrap. As was the case during that era, this was used during the regular season and possibly the post season for the Steelers, and was repainted in AFC red for the Pro Bowl as players used their own game helmets. Has AFC stickers on each side, signed in sliver by Lambert with added "Game Helmet + Pro Bowl." Most of the padding is missing from the inside but still has the upper pad that has "58" written on it in red marker; also has a piece of masking tape inside with "LAMBERT" written on it. Rawlings size 7 5/8, below the approval stamping on the back of the helmet is "5-76" code. It's a little difficult to pin down the exact year as Lambert appeared in an amazing nine straight Pro Bowls, to go with his four Super Bowl titles and his selection as one of the sport's top all-time players on the NFL 100th Anniversary team.
