Amazing and rare find in this original 1928 First Edition hardcover printing of Babe Ruth's Own Book of Baseball, authored and signed by The Bambino himself. Babe was not the kind of persona to be tucked away on a shelf and this book reflects that, with extensive use shown in devouring the contents from the top star of the day. Signature is on the fly page in black steel-tip fountain ink, there is separation of the cloth cover from the spine, pages are brittle with some foxing shown and slight separation from binding. Textblock appears to be intact, and this book in any condition - particularly one written and autographed by George Herman Ruth himself - is a timeless classic. Comes with JSA LOA for autograph.
