Hammered 1981 Pittsburgh Steelers jersey game worn by linebacker Robin Cole. White jersey has Sand-Knit size 50, Steelers Exclusive, and year 81 strip tag on front tail. Number 56 is in all black on front, back, and shoulders, and name is on a plate above the rear number in gold-on-black tackle twill. Tremendous use includes around 15 team repairs to the shoulders, particularly the numbers which have evidently been shredded and had to be sewn back together from the hard-fought trench wars. Some scuffing or residue evident on the front and back numbers, and some stray stains, including a blue streak on the right shoulder. A 1977 first-round draft pick, Cole won two Super Bowl rings during his 11 seasons in the Steel City. Comes with Steelers Authentic Memorabilia Certificate of Authenticity.
