Superb 2005 New England Revolution jersey game worn by one of the best American soccer players in history, Clint Dempsey. Blue pullover has Adidas size XL tag in collar, Revolution screened in red across the chest, team logo patch sewn on left breast, MLS Season 10 logo heat pressed on left sleeve and MLS Cup and MLS logos pressed on right. Name and number 2 are heat-pressed on back in white-on-black, jersey shows nice use including visible sweat stains to the neck. Dempsey wore this very jersey for the MLS Cup Championship Game on November 13, 2005, with the star narrowly missing the Golden Goal in overtime before New England fell to the Los Angeles Galaxy in a 1-0 final. Enclosed is an LOA from our consignor detailing how he was personally given this jersey, while also noting some of Dempsey's accomplishments both the the US Men's National Team as well as in the Premier League, considered by many to be the best professional league in existence.
