Terrific 1965 vest-style Pittsburgh Pirates home jersey game worn by Donn Clendenon. All original flannel top is cream-colored and button-front, with Rawlings size 44 tag on front tail and cleaning instructions and Set 1 1965 flag tag inside. PIRATES stitched across the chest in black-on-yellow felt, number 17 on left front and on back; no name is present. Fine use is evident with some light dirt staining presumed to be from game use on the back. Clendenon played most of his 12 MLB seasons in the Steel City but is perhaps best known as the MVP of the 1969 World Series, belting three homers as his Amazin' Mets stunned the Baltimore Orioles.
