Beautiful 1927 promotional photo from the famed barnstorming tour featuring Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, with vintage signature from baseball's original Iron Horse. The iconic 8x10" image was sold at souvenir stands during the "Bustin' Babes vs. Larrupin' Lou's" tour, with replica signatures of each accompanying his likeness. This specimen was purchased during the tour stop in Oakland, California, and signed by Gehrig in period blue fountain ink rating 8/10. Pencil notation on bottom right indicates it was from the "Oakland Ball Park" with Gehirg's name; superbly matted and framed to 13.5x17.25" with engraved plate identifying Gehrig, frame does have a .75" nick at top left corner.
