Complete, original wax box of "More of the Monkees," issued by Donruss in 1967. This famous pop band, headlined by Davy Jones and Mickey Dolenz, gained immense popularity during the mid-1960s because of their popular NBC television show. To capitalize on the craze surrounding the band, Donruss produced a number of sets devoted exclusively to the band and featuring scenes from the show. This high grade full box has been authenticated and shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The display box itself shows moderate signs of handling, with slight discoloration of the white exterior, three pulls on the box top and slight compression along the rear of the top, possibly caused when the box was being sealed. Important to note is that the top perforations do not appear to be broken, attesting to the minimal handling of the contents within.
