Attractive 1906 cabinet card of Tommy Burns and Jack O'Brien before their infamous rigged and double-crossed return bout. The card measures 12x 9.75". The photo is marked copyright 06 by Lyons LA. Beneath the photo is inscribed Burns and O'Brien signing articles to fight for the $30,000 purse....to take place Los Angeles Ca Fiesta Week May 7-14, 1907.  The card has four tape residual marks and some old water staining on the top and bottom corners which does not affect the photo.  It also has a crease in upper right hand corner.  Image is unaffected by any of the peripheral damage and is crisp and clean but for a small rust mark on the bottom center edge of the photo.
