Jack Johnson vs. James Jeffries souvenir change purse from their July 4, 1910 Reno NV bout. The purse is made of leather and measures 3.5x3.5". The purse has decorative tooling on the front side with two snap button closures. The reverse has tooled depiction of the two pugilists in fighting action. Condition of the purse is good with much usage wear to the leather prevalent. The snaps have some green corrosion on both snaps and snap receptacles. The softer leather pouch lining has two holes from age. The piece displays nicely.
