Blueprint archive of eight (8) late 1960s documents lays out the full groundwork for the building of "Philadelphia Stadium" - which would become known as Veterans Stadium upon its opening in 1971, where it played host to the Phillies and Eagles until its 2003 closing. Sizes listed are approximate: 1) 18x36" diagram of field. 2) 17x21" pretzel ad with players. 3) 36x42" field water damage. 4-5) 36x42" field (2). 6-7) 36x42" area map with stadium and arena. 8) 36x42" outside design of stadium. The Vet opened with a 4-1 Phillies win over the Montreal Expos on April 10, 1971, and closed with a 27-10 Eagles loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game on January 19, 2003.
