Beautiful original 1983 Mackey Award trophy presented to Jack Lambert. Silver trophy on black circular wood base stands 14" tall and base measures 7" in diameter, depicting a standing player with helmet under his arm. Silver plate is engraved, "Jack Lambert - Pittsburgh Steelers - AFC Linebacker of the Year - 1983 Mackey Award - National Football League Players Association," with NFLPA logo on one side and BBF on the other. Lambert has beautifully signed the back side of the base along with his number and HOF '90 in silver Sharpie. Though a foot injury would shorten his 1984 season and eventually lead to his retirement, Lambert remained at the top of his game in '83, including his ninth consecutive selection to the Pro Bowl. A couple of very minor blemishes noticed, trophy remains in EX-MT condition and comes directly from the Hall of Famer.
