Spectacular 1948 single-signed Babe Ruth ball. The Bambino's autograph in blue ink graces the sweet spot of this very clean Official American League (Harridge) ball. The baseball retains a crisp cream color and is almost flawless except for one white line about 4" long extending from below the "B" in Babe onto the side panel. Possibly from a previous display, it does not at all detract from the sparkling presentation of this amazing example. Babe succumbed to cancer in 1948, so this signature is literally from the last months of his extraordinary life. Comes with PSA NM-MT 8 Signature LOA; ball presents NM or better.
