Hammered 1979-80 John Van Boxmeer Buffalo Sabres jersey shows tremendous use. White home jersey has Maska and size L 44-46 tags in collar, buffalo with crossed swords crest on chest and logo patch on both shoulders with very rare 1980 Lake Placid Olympic patch on right breast. Name plate has been removed from back but everything else is original including patches and numbers and great use is evident with pilling, team repairs, blood stains, paint transfers, stick marks, and wear to the crest. Number "5" is on shoulders and back in blue-on-yellow tackle twill, fight strap is intact. Great relic of the NHL's more rough-and-tumble era.
