Hall of Fame goaltender Dominik Hasek spent the bulk of his career with the Buffalo Sabres, and these game used goalie pads are from early in that tenure, circa early-to-mid-1990s. Blue and white CSS pads show what looks to be at least a season of game use, both have labeling "Custum Made For Dominik Hasek 39." The CSS logos on both have been partially obscured due to other teams' compalints to the NHL that there was too much advertising on the pads for the brand. Hammered with puck marks throughout, in places the paint has eroded enough to see the brown leather of the pads. Known for his unconventional, flailing style, Hasek's uncanny reflexes made him one of the very best of his era and led to him earning his nickname as "The Dominator." Terrific Hall of Fame gear.
