1881 Yale Bulldogs National Football Champions team photograph. The team compiled a 5–0–1 record, did not allow opposing teams to score a single point, and was retroactively named co-national champions by the National Championship Foundation and Parke H. Davis. From that impressive season comes this fine 7x9" team photograph. Featuring all 12 members including Walter Camp, the team is expertly posed with a unique football that reads, "Yale Champions 1881" in bright white. Mounted on a heavy board with Brown Brothers stamps on the verso, this piece unfortunately can not be PSA graded due to mounting.
