One of America's oldest sports rivalries is depicted in fine from in this Harvard-Yale photo from 1912. Wide angle 8.5x6" shot appears to have a player punting from the near sideline as a packed house looks on. Verso has a great fountain pen description noting, "A 40,000 crowd watching a Yale Harvard football game at New Haven," with the year in pencil below. Also has stamps from Brown Brothers, the premier photo aggregation service for over a century. Harvard won that contest on November 27 by a 20-0 count, touching off a string of eight victories in nine meetings for the Crimson. PSA encapsulated Type I.
