Original 1935 celluloid negative of Babe Ruth during his short retirement-season stint with the Boston Braves. The Bambino is up to his old tricks, posing on the dugout's top step ready to lift a handful of bats in this black and white rarity. The negative measures 4x5" and has a paper sleeve with the writing of famed sports photographer Charles Conlon identifying the contents. Lot also comes with a circa mid-1930s 8x10" print from the negative. Babe played just 28 games for the Braves in that final season, which did include a Ruthian three-home run game on May 25th against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
