Classic 1995-96 Martin Biron Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey, from the first of his 16 seasons as one of the NHL's best netminders. Photo-matched (Getty 72555158) to December 27, 1995, which was his first career home jersey and the second jersey he ever wore! Biron only played in three games in the 1995-96 season: 12/26, 12/27 (this jersey), and 1/6/96, and was definitively worn before January 11, 1996, as the Sabres added a "1" patch to their jerseys after Roger Crozier's passing. Biron's first and third games were both away games, so this is the only white Biron jersey wore during the 1995-96 season. After the 1995-96 season, Biron did not play for Buffalo until the 1998-99 season when the Sabres changed their color scheme to black and red. Highlight is the vintage buffalo with crossed sabers logo crest on the chest, Maska size 56 tag in neck, "Biron" sewn on plate in blue letters above his number 00 in blue-on-goal tackle twill. Numbers and logo patch on both sleeves, nice use with slash marks on sleeves and loose threads and fight strap present. Biron amassed 230 victories in his 16-year career, mostly spent with the Sabres.
