Official National League (Frick) ball features 28 black fountain ink signatures of the 1941 Cubs including the extremely rare autograph of Wimpy Quinn, signed during his brief 3-game career. His unfortunate death at the age of 36 in 1954 helps to account for his extreme rarity. Other signers include Ki Ki Cuyler, Lou Novikoff, Bill Lee, Charlie Root, Stan Hack, Jim Wilson, Bill Nicholson, Babe Dahlgren, Claude Passeau, and Phil Cavaretta.
